The AERO Files compact digital discs are formated for PC and MAC operating systems.
The high resolution images contained on the disc's are saved in .TIF file format to be compatable
with most internet browsers and photo viewing software. The images are saved at 200-300 dpi
to facilitate enlargement for observation of small details, so you can crop a small area of
image and print it out and have hard copy of the image to highly detail the part of the
aircraft you are working on.
Each AERO Files disc comes with contact sheets saved as files
to print out as an index to the images on the disc.
This is an example of the whole purpose of the AERO Files CDs. The images on these discs are of areas on the aircraft that are not readily accessible to a person looking at a photo of the aircraft in a book. The photos are saved at a very high resolution so you can enlarge any section of the image and study the detail available just as if you were standing on the ramp with the aircraft right in front of you.
